$100CAD for both days, $50/day. There will be 2 special classes open only for 3rd dan and above at the Yoshinkan dojo located at the Vancouver Japanese Language School at 475 Alexander St. In Vancouver. July 1 and 2 19:00 – 21:00 no additional charge for these classes. Bento lunch: We will order a group bento lunch if you would like to have this please confirm by email to Natan Cheifetz cost is $20 for both days including bento box and bottled water. Accommodations: A group rate has been reserved at the Ramada Limited Vancouver Airport. They have a free shuttle from the airport and it is close to the Steveson venue. We will arrange to pick up any out-of-towners and bring them to the dojo. Please note the discounted rooms will be held to June 17 only. Rate is $116/room based on double occupancy (plus tax). The Sunrise Kendo Club is very excited to announce that it will be hosting a series of kendo seminars in early July. Uegaki Sensei has invited 4 prominent Sensei from Japan to lead these sessions.
The instructors include:
The curriculum will cover a range of topics (including kendo/zen breathing techniques and training methods to improve your kendo), but it will also likely feature some demonstrations of Hokushin Itto-Ryu and techniques that apply to kendo.

The new location will be FALSE CREEK COMMUNITY CENTRE (@ Granville Island) in the Main Gym. The community centre is located next to the tennis courts on the south east side of the island.

This year’s Kelowna Gasshuku will take place July 16, 17, and 18th. We hope to see everyone there!
Accommodation and meals will be at 1225 Wilson Avenue. As space is limited in the house, as in previous years, we ask that some participants bring tents to be set up in the backyard. Please use the showers at Heritage Christian School or UBC Okanagan as the house only has 2 showers.
